Body Waxing is a very good alternative for managing unwanted hair on many body areas.*  Although waxing isn’t permanent like electrolysis, it does provide instantly smooth skin that can last for several weeks.

Both hard (stripless) and soft (strip) wax treatments are available depending on the body area being treated, and at Adieu LLC you’ll find a fixed price list for waxing clients—not a low base price list with the words “and up” in small print.  There is never an added charge for hard wax use so you'll know exactly what your cost is before your treatment.

At Adieu LLC your safety is of utmost importance.  Everything used in your treatment is thoroughly disinfected.  All tweezers and other critical instruments are sterilized, and these instruments are maintained sterile until opened at the time of your appointment for your use. 

To protect you, a fresh pair of disposable gloves will always be worn while performing all services.  The treatment area is also sanitized prior to and after each service, and disposable barriers are used to prevent cross contamination.

PhD Safewax technology is used to assure clients a gentler, more comfortable form of waxing that is totally hygienic.  PhD Safewax is a Professional Hygienic and Disposable waxing system with a pre-sealed, single-use applicator head for each client that is disposed of after each waxing treatment.  The unique patented gate mechanism in each applicator prevents wax from re-entering the tube to eliminate cross contamination and ensure client safety.  You won’t find any “double dipping” in the wax pot here!

Unlike men, women have some special considerations with respect to waxing on certain body areas.  On women all facial hair (except the eyebrows) as well as hair along the centerline of the body on the chest, breasts and abdomen is under hormonal control.  If consistently waxed, tweezed or in any way violently removed by the root, this hormonally-controlled hair will grow back thicker, stronger and there will be more of it!  This is why it's important that women don't tweeze, pluck or wax the hair on these body areas.  At Adieu LLC I want to eliminate your hair problem---not make it worse---so I will NOT routinely wax any hormonally-controlled hair on women without informed consent that the service may increase the growth of unwanted hair.   

Eyebrow hair is not hormonally-controlled and can be tweezed, waxed or plucked without fear of increasing the growth of unwanted facial hair.  In fact, eyebrow hair is more like scalp hair so you can literally pluck it to patch baldness if you’re not careful.  Although eyebrow hair isn’t hormonally-controlled, because many common skin care products on the market today are designed to thin, abrade, or change the surface of delicate facial skin, safety can be an issue with any facial waxing for some clients.  If safety is an issue, I will gladly tweeze your eyebrows & professionally sculpt them, or perhaps you'd like them permanently shaped with electrolysis!

Waxing services are not recommended and will not be performed on clients  who are using (or who have used in the last 6 months) Accutane or Retin-A products.  If you have utilized these or similar products please be aware there is a very real risk of losing skin if you are waxed as these products by their very nature thin the surface of your skin.

For your own safety, waxing services will not be performed if you have tanned on the day of your waxing appointment, or if you have a visible sunburn or any other skin issue that renders it non-intact at the time of treatment.

Tips are not accepted at Adieu LLC.  All clients deserve outstanding service at every treatment so quality service is built into the rates you pay.  Please remember when comparing competitor prices that your continued patronage at Adieu LLC is gratuity enough.
